After visiting churches and playing around editing the video, I wasn’t feeling inspired by my work and wasn’t enjoying the outcome. I felt frustrated and was losing my confidence in using video and photography as I wasn’t convinced my project was moving forward in a constructive way.
I started to worry that the work I had made so far and where it was heading was not conveying the theme of miracles. I gave myself some time to reflect on how I felt, and found that as my attention was centred around the sorrow of Mary in Catholic art. I decided that would be my new line of focus and theme.
