My project plan is to experiment with a few techniques – this week starting with collage. I have been partaking in a workshop on collage and feel that the contextual side has been helping me a lot to learn what I like and dislike in collage, as well as the timeline of the technique.

When starting creating, I began trying not to think about it too much, using cut outs from a copy of THE SKINNY, pen, pencil and cut paper. I think I was a bit disappointed with this work as although I like it, it does look very similar to last weeks responses.

To avoid my work looking too samey, I made a few small pieces (A5 and under) and combined them into one larger piece, shown below. I love the use of layering, but think I could take these even further.
